Boom, covenant intended as conceptual identity choice, as I've always said. And there it is. If your character doesn't have a strong enough identity, that's not Blizz's problem. Thank you.

It is their job to make a covenant choice feel "not wrong" within reason, and I think feedback should still flow to meet that goal, but yeah, covenants were never going to start the expansion as "best of all worlds."

I hate to say this kills my excitement, but it does. I could care less when SL comes out. It just seems like it'll be a nuisance to deal with. I want to play Venthyr, but I probably am gonna have to make my lock a Necro.

Pretty disappointed on the doubling down on the covenant system. It's just basically Azerite all over again. We told them our gripes with this system so early on and they still ignored it. I love this game and I'll still play of course but I wish they weren't so obstinate.

Still not addressing the hot mess covenants are for people like me who play all three roles depending on what my friends need me to play. That's kind of sad to see, why punish people who are willing to flex if needed? I don't get it. If anything, flexibility should be rewarded.

Again, it's a leaning into an expectation of character concept. What spec is your Character? Not your game avatar, the PERSON that is your character. Prioritize according to that. I'm going druid. I'll be balance in groups and tank when alone. Concept is tank. Priority is tank.
