Wait.........rank 2? Abilities have a rank system again? Hold up! Here I was going to complain that blade flurry should be toggleable like it used to be instead of it having a cooldown, but got distracted with glee!
In the latest Shadowlands Alpha build, Blade Flurry now has a leveling talent that causes it to instantly deal damage when pressed. This type of change, making it so that most abilities on the GCD do something up front rather than just empowring your future globals, is a good solution to the way the GCD feels right now

I feel like this is a copout tbh. Siegebreaker does up front damage as well but it ends up being like ~2% of your overall damage or something. Most of these changes will probably be the same. Still feels like a wasted global regardless IMO.
