Tier set bonuses feel more exciting than trying to mix/match azerite pieces for traits. (And didnt require a power grind to unlock bonuses lol)

To be honest I find mixing different azerite sets much better than haggling set bonuses. Especially considering many azerite traits scaled with expac, while set bonuses hardly so. That said, yeah the azerite farm part and obtainment of the pieces themselves was fixed way late
