As much as I agree with Saurfang's stance, he's just not fit to be warchief anymore. He's old and defeated at this point and he himself feels like his honorable death is long overdue.

My guess for how it's "not SoO 2.0" is that Sylvanas gets ousted with little fanfare, just being driven from the Horde or abandoning it should she decide its no longer useful to fully commit to whatever her, in Blizzard's words from the panel, "evil plans" are.

I can only imagine how irate Sylvanas' fans would be if she is just cast away. And how irate everyone else would be if we don't get to kill her

Bellular speculated Thrall will come back to lead the horde while Saurfang will just help him out. They should be shit. I want a true leader, not that limp hermit who is suddenly back. Who the f cares? Yeah, come at me

I don't think Saurfang wants to be warchief. So maybe he'll seek out his old friend and convince him to return. Maybe then Sylvanas will kill one of them, turning the horde against her.

He didn't leave it leaderless. Vol'jin was the leader.

i'm so happy that Crhis Metzen was at Blizzcon, and that he take the roll of Green Jesus ... *cough* i mean Thrall like it's a part of him. But i also hope that he enjoy the time with his family, since he retired.
