I think it's more accurate to say the system values grades more than it values students that actually learn. Kids are kids, and we model values.. The "do as I say not as I do" style is poop.

Learning how to cheat was the key for me to learn how to learn. Condensing material into tiny bits of information that can be discretely stored. Soon realized I didn't need the written information anymore, as the act of condensing committed the information to memory.
