Making Rosetta and the Well has taught me several things, one of them being that solo dev work absolutely sucks.
But at the same time, my leadership skills aren't the best and I don't know where I can go for help.

Alright, I've pretty much recovered from my burnout.
In the meantime, I've been coming up with ideas for a potential new VN.
A rain-themed one, to be exact. 🌧️

At the end of the day, I'm just one ASD-riddled person, and I don't want too much weight being placed on me. I'm already scared for the future as is, I don't need any more weight placed on my back.

As such, I might just end up disappearing from the public eye for a bit until I can find the mental strength to move forward. If all this dies down by the time I recover, that would be a nice bonus.

Making one visual novel on its own (especially as a solo dev) had already been a challenge, and combined with all that's happened, the creative process just all seems like a massive hurdle I can hardly overcome.

The amount of eyes on me now,various negative comments pertaining to something that was mainly just a fun little project, and the concerns I have over a "fandom" forming around it...They've all taken a toll on my overall mental state.

Rosetta and the Well is just about nearly done!
Aside from a few final touches and artworks, the writing itself has all been placed in-engine.

P.S: The name of his theme is based around the name of "The Phantom of the Opera". It would've even included *that* motif in his theme had I managed to find a good place for it.

-Amanosaku's hat is an indicator of his status as a king. He's not an onmyouji.

-His wispy tail is another side effect of said birth method. Seeing as how he's essentially a mass of congealed negative energy in a vaguely kami-ish shape, he doesn't have legs like Amanozako does.

-His general design was somewhat modeled after the designs in the Len'en series. The way I drew his eyes is one example
-Due to how he was conceived, I had him share several physical traits with his mother, like the horns and the color of his hair and eyes.
