If you're going to call every new person of color or white woman a "diversity hire" then you also have to call every new white man a "privilege hire". Don't blame me, those are just the rules.

My first-ever committee meeting in which I describe my project and present some (very) preliminary data is under a month away, and I'd love some advice. It's not quals yet, but I'm still fairly anxious about presenting my original and likely bad ideas to people I deeply respect😬

Really happy to finally share the in press version of my thesis work. We dissected the GABAergic microcircuitry of the basolatetal amygdala and found that a novel subtype of Sst cells drive feedforward inhibition and PV cells drive feedback inhibition.

Hey ! Can someone point me towards papers written by POC (lots of bonus points for womxn or queer authors) in broadly marine ecology or biology? I'm frustrated by my inability to find many. Thank you!
