    2/The 2022 Status of Women & Girls in MN shows that the wage gap shortchanges all women & affects BIPOC women most & only 5% of businesses in MN are owned by women of color. 🔗

    1/Today, WFMN Pres & CEO is testifying in the Workforce & Business Dev Committee in support of HF4098 which will provide Black women with: 👉grants to invest in wealth education & services 👉business tech support 👉professional development 👉financial assistance

    4 YWI Cabinet members attended Women Led Civics this week @ to discuss, "How do we tell an honest & critical account of the American story while fostering national identity & pride?" Thank u & the Reagan Institute for sponsoring the Cabinet members!

    Such a blast talking all things civics + storytelling with for “Women Lead” by — with some of my fav people in civics 🗳💫 the premise is that women will figure out the issues facing democracy & they’re right.

    1/We stand in solidarity w/ Asian American Pacific Islander communities on this somber day of mourning & remembrance. We've joined orgs & individuals in signing on to this statement calling for reflection & action to ensure AAPI community members feel loved, accepted, & safe.

    It is , or the day when women "catch up" to what men made on average the previous year. In MN, on avg, women make $0.79 for every $1 that men make, with greater disparities for BIPOC women. We join in amplifying the call to close the gender pay gap.
