When a person hits that subscribe button they are saying, I want this person's content... not I want you @Youtube to decide what portion of content I get.... C'mon guys, to subscribe is an action, which means that sub is saying, give me this content

Okay... but the percentage of the "frustrated" viewers is smaller than those who wish to see content. Isn't that what it means to subscribe? And what about the recommended videos? Surely that doesn't help to be spam more of these notifications than the channels you're subbed to.
