Live streaming and uploading that VOD, say 3hr vod, will perform horribly on YT, therefor tanking your watch time, and since no one clicks on live streams it also hurts your click through rate. And since! Your next video will perform based on how your last video did..cont

That 3hr VOD which did bad, will not give a boost to your next video. And if your whole backlog of VODs are streams, youre channel is screwed since no one will watch your 3hr live streams, so than why would YT, seeing that your channel is performing Horrible, recommend you? .cont

All this adds up to a few things. 1) If you're a livestreamer, you're pretty much hooped, UNLESS, you also make videos. But again this is where you have to be careful not to upload and live stream on the same days, "Cannibalizing Views" ...cont

2) you cannot Upload your livestreams and make them public. You just can't, not without hurting your channel. UNLESS you treat your live stream like a Let's Play video.

From my understanding you can do both. If you live stream, dont make your streams public, cut them down and make them into videos so you build that backlog of videos up, and YT wont punish you for the 3hr live stream. Or, treat livestream like a lets play and up load those..cont

YT will always be a Videos first platform, it sucks livestreaming is such a fickle bitch. Now, this is just what I've found and I wanted to write this all down to organize my thoughts. I Would love to hear what you all think of this.
