Many complaints have been made to youtube in regards to this and many forums have complained about this companies blatant abuse of the copyright ID system. one user when speaking to a representative about her case was presented with comment: http://yttalk.com/threads/fair-use-is-100-dead-on-youtube-now.129987/ …pic.twitter.com/cndgj64BrW

I myself have been claimed 4 times by this company one of those times earlier today for a meme i made from the anime overlord. the meme was transformative and fall under fair use but was still struck automatically with a visual copyright claim.

Multiple users in the past and probably today like myself are dealing with this issue with this company, if we dispute their claims we risk a copyright strike to our channels, very few people have managed to secure their channels from this company and its usually just one vid 1/2

2/2 - out of 11 vids that they posted. and are usually moderate size channels. why does
@TeamYouTube permit this behavior from yam112003 who based their claims on Italian law vs United states/Canada/japans law which has Fair use laws? and this is one of many instances of networks1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -
abusing of youtube's copyright claiming system? I love youtube. I always wanted to be one since i was in middle school but could never afford the equipment. finally as a man trying to live out a youthful fantasy i am deeply disappointed that youtube would allow this.

I say that you allow this because nothing seems to be done about companies like this who have been caught and have admitted abusing copyright law against youtubes very own guidelines. @TeamYouTube if you dont enforce your own guidelines they might as well be decoration on site.
