So, in one opinion, the court says election officials were wrong to suggest any voter could claim special status under the guise of COVID-19, and voters who falsely claim confinement are subject to having their ballots tossed.

In the two rulings, what Wisconsin Supreme Court is saying is this: Trump's challenge regarding the status of "indefinitely confined" fails because Trump sought to toss *all* votes cast under that status. The court said the tossing ballots must be made on a case-by-case basis.

But in a separate opinion, the court says President Trump was in error to ask that ALL ballots cast under the indefinite confinement status must be rejected. The court says rejecting ballots must be made on a case-by-case basis.
