As EMS many of us are mandated to get clothing off (obv. W/dignity). As of now many of our protocols/teaching on trauma PTs mandates “strip & flip”, cut off the clothing.
A proper paper that comes from an (or many) ER physicians could go a long way to changing that mandate.
