I gotta disagree. All of DaBaby’s songs sound alike for sure, and a lot of artists today lack originality as well, but saying everyone sounds the same is a take I’ve been hearing about hip-hop for at least 15 years now.

No. The trap beat/Migos flow has been the standard for some years now. Not everyone, but it’s the formula for the shit that gets major spins

Fam, I only listen to the radio in the car with my son... and it's like listening to one long-ass song. They just bleed into each other, same tempo, indistinguishable from the next... I change between Hot 97 & Power 105 and it's the same shit on each.

90’s hip hop was the best because everybody had their own unique style and flow. So much originality. The era where Artists put creativity into their music & wasn’t just only about making a dollar. Of course they wanted to make money but you can tell it was more about the craft

From 1995 - 2015... not just the 90's. We cnt ignore the G units, the kendricks and coles. Weezy, Ross, lupe fiasco, kanye west, a lot of great rappers came out in the 2000's

All the mainstream artists sound the same. Now if you listen to some of the underground or lesser known rappers, it’s completely different.
