I'm giving up playing Monster Hunter World - tried the Anjanath battle 10-15 times and always lost, when an enemy can kill you with one it, it's no longer fun

it's like all other monsters are "cheat mode", easy, then suddenly = impossible. Bah :(

Got it. You're at what I consider the tipping point for the game. It's either where you stop, or where the game gets super interesting. Now you need to look at how you and the monster are fighting. Learning your weapon better, etc. This vid might help:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6s_Avcc8Bpw …

For me it was MH Freedom's Khezu. Same thing -- the tipping point. Up until then I could manage somehow, but this new beast just wrecked me 100%. Took a break. Then finally beat it and fell in love with the series forever.

it's fine though, I always heard about it so I wanted to try. Now I know I'll never buy one of those again. Got misled by some reviews saying that was "the easiest MH ever". LOL. I can't imagine how are the others!!

It's the easiest ever, but only in the context of a very skill-based series, more so than Dark Souls. Knowing you a bit, I don't think it's the kind of game you'd like either. Its appeal is 90% the challenge it poses.

yes indeed, not saying the game is bad of course, just not the kind of game I like :)
