I guess that's true. It's hard to have perspective I guess of what is "really reality" since it's so large and vast. It really makes me wonder about the perception of "what's actually happening" since we are reliant on other sources for information.

Focus groups have been proven inneffective with big name devs though they will say otherwise. It's hard to know if its just the dev team or sugar daddy overlords hearing what they want to hear and cramming crap into the games they make. Indie devs have more creative freedom but_

-More reason to be cautious without the safety net that a big name company money can bring. Not that too many big name game devs are being all that creatively brave these past few years, with only a handful of notable exceptions.
