Like, I've visited websites that recognise I have adblock and beg me to disable for their site to support them. So I do, to be nice - and get blasted with five auto-launching video ads at once. The adblock goes back on.

There is no "system". Internet ads aren't regulated. This is going to require more of a political approach, with admakers talking to adblockers and finding common ground.
