#indiedev endless loop:
1) read TON of articles about not quitting your daily job
2) quit your daily job
3) think "my game will surely sell XYZ copies"
4) game sells 1/100 of expected amount
5) write a desperate postmortem about going bankrupt warning other indies
6) go to 1

I was pretty discouraged by all the indie "failure" posts lately. But nevertheless I'm going to continue to work on a game because I love games so much and want to be a part of the industry. You are an inspiration as you persist despite setbacks.
