Valve, @puppygames has the best solution: remove negative votes. People can only vote positive. Ranking based on sales+positive votes. Done!

I rather have a middle ground in between positive and negative, or even a star system. Positive/Negative is too black and white.

I'd rather a review be honest and informative, nothing but praise is biased and doesn't help the consumer.

While Steam users aren't the most reliable opinions, they're entitled to them. Game, movie, comic, book and other reviews are important.

That's a rather close minded view, all places that offer goods/services need (and usually have) a review system, refunds or not. Ask Amazon.

what I'm proposing is not REMOVING the review. Just each review is like a +1. Then in the review you can write "SHITTEST GAME EVER"
