I think a Steam Direct fee of $500 would have been better. A $100 fee each game is basically the same as not having one 
you sure? I think is much easier/faster to pay $100 and get in immediately than bother promoting a game on GL! (you still need votes)

I admit I'm not familiar with that process, but with the amount of asset flip games getting through it couldn't be that hard.

Also asset flips business model depends on massive numbers of games so this still kind of deflates that unless people game the system.

I think is worse. You forget that it's one dev that need to decide of to make 10 asset flip games... but 1000 devs doing 1 asset flip games
