for example I'd like to do a 3D story based game, but that will never happen since I don't know unity or unreal and would take ages to learn

it's also easier in Unity to do UI - alignment/spacing between objects wouldn't be something you'll need to worry about w/IDE.

Actually, I found Ren'Py's UI system to be more intuitive due to it taking care of different resolutions automatically

because you can reload and see changes on the fly, rollback, have great debug info, etc. It's really good to work with :)

that's the thing, you don't need to reload, you only adjust the x & y(& z) values in the transform box in unity.

trust me, the strength of Unity isn't the debugging - I have yet to find a tool as good as Ren'py for that :)
