You could call it the "starter" In ess. oils, they'll call the plain oils "carrier oils" that theyll mix with the "special" ones
not sure if there is any good / special word to suit the need. I was just going to use "base fluid" or something :D

I was also going to suggest Starter because given the context a "Base fluid" might be thought to refer to the PH of the mixture.

Just don't say "Starter Fluid" because that's a flammable spray you use to help start combustion engines.
