so I never had much luck with "pure VN" games, still other indies like @TomGrochowiak had much success. What are the selling point of a VN?

@pcmacgames @TomGrochowiak To me personally VN's like Clannad and Fate/Stay Night are the example to follow in that regard.

@pcmacgames @TomGrochowiak The core component would be a compelling story with interesting/relateable characters.

.@Spero_Mcgee @TomGrochowiak so story is very important as I expected, but what also artwork? are 50+ CG necessary? :P

@pcmacgames @TomGrochowiak Replayibility wise one can go with multiple story flags leading to various ''bad/good/best/" endings.

@pcmacgames I think you better assign someone for the marketing and ad ideas, I think there's just a slight problem in delivering to public.

@helrouis don't think, since I'm sure that Cinders doesn't have a team of marketing behind it :D I think the beautiful art helped sell

@pcmacgames I'd say, in order of importance: interesting/catchy theme > artwork > plentiful choices > quality of writing/story.

@pcmacgames @TomGrochowiak I think part of Cinder's success was because it appealed to an audience beside the traditional anime/VN audience.
