stumbled into Leadwerks and seems quite powerful, and easier to use than Unity3d, yet I don't see many indies using it... why? ^_^;
@apgamesdev I'm sure Unity3d has more features and bigger community but this one seems much easier to use. But I'm no expert!

@pcmacgames As I recall you know Python? In that case the move to Lua is no big deal, Unity has javascript that isn't that hard to pick up. -
@apgamesdev yes, in any case the biggest problem are the 3d assets when making a 3d game. I wouldn't make a 3d RPG for sure :P - Show replies
