I'm pretty sure people think that adding new features constitutes most of the time spent on an early access game updates, but in reality it's 30% new features and 70% re-working existing menus to fit them.

To expand on this: Implementing 36 skills, an entirely new gameplay mechanic/system: 9h total. Re-design and implementation of mission summary screen to fit changes: two weeks and fucking counting.

at least the upside was that it's the RPG with the shortest testing stage I ever made. And it's amazing since was also the most complex :P
