when Steam asked about the entry fee, a lot of famous indies raised their voices in favor of the low ($100) fee. Maybe they should do the same to lower the high 30% (real 35%) commission on sales? like Apple is doing, 12% for revenues under $1M/year

I remember their reasons were good, like $100 is a lot on poor countries, etc etc.
Well lowering the fee for games earning less than $1M (the 99% of indie games!) would save way more than $100 each game and help tremendously small indies!
