this because for example in Dark Magic there are spells like Mind Shatter, Blood Boils and so on which falls under Debilitation resistance and such. I didn't want to have 1 resistance for each magic school but reduce the amount to simplify things, but I'm still thinking about it
after a lot of thinking, I am planning to keep the original various school of magic, Dark Magic, Life Magic, Nature Magic etc but keep the 3 new base resistances (Elemental, Debilitation & Physical). I hope won't be too much confusing for players ?
