I used to think that Steam reviews count was a good measure of a game's success, but after my latest game release clearly it's not true anymore. It seems fewer and fewer people leave reviews. And Steam using it as metric to rank games is... how to say, not the best idea

so in practice:
Planet Stronghold 2: 10 reviews on day 1
Volleyball Heaven: 4 on day 1, 7 by week 1
Hazel: 2 reviews (and one doesn't count) after 5 days
It sold more copies than both games above in same time. This is insane lol, I wonder if other devs experience the same?
