discovered that I am allowed to have trading cards for Planet Stronghold 2, so I'm going to work on that (I had nothing ready since I thought would take more time!)

I'm talking about Steam obviously! It seems they're enabled after they've sold a certain amount or are popular, not based on time. For example Corona Borealis was out 1 year sooner and still they're not allowed

It's based on amount of actual sales, to prevent speculation from gifting games and selling the cards, or something like that.

well not just that though, there's even a certain amount of time. I had games that sold extremely better than others and still card took longer. Of course they send you no warning, so is also hard to know WHEN they were unlocked :P

Yeah, pretty sure owners need to play the game a certain amount of time to allow trading cards, not just for themselves but for you as well, to avoid the asset flips with no gameplay made to harvest trading cards.
