a bit unsure right now how to move forward with Curse Of Mantras. Thinking if maybe do a pure gameplay game or with minimum writing/cutscenes. I don't think have the strength to do big complex gameplay+big complex story anymore

I mean I thought I could do it taking slowly, but... no. Burn out is now persistent and I can only work a little before feeling completely sick/overwhelmed. So I think I need to cut one of the two things - make it just story or just gameplay...

I'd always sacrifice gameplay for a good story in a heartbeat. But then I guess the card artworks would be wasted.
Would be cool to search and research those creatures though, and slowly fill an encyclopedia or smth.

I think I found a solution maybe! work on the card gameplay, finish it, and then do a KS or something for the story. The issue is that I'm not even sure if people are interested in the setting :P
