I don't know what a CDD is, but basically I'm just pulling the X,Y coordinates of where the user presses, and applying extrapolations of those values to various transforms on screen.

I also make some backend values; the character starts at coordinates that I set, but once it moves to about halfway across the screen, the character's X position stays in place while the background moves, and then a similar trick is applied at the end of the background.

Eventually I might try to figure out how to do collision detection, but for my next project, this should work fine, and HOPEFULLY it integrates pretty well with 7.4; some bone-based animation software will make walk cycles way easier.

collision detection is tough without using pygame I think
