so, in a party based RPG, skills that level up the more you use them. Good or bad idea? Also, explain why please :)

You could do a system where you could level it up more you use them. However you get like 10 x ability boost when you use it effectively. Like hitting a weakness. You could also level it up outside of battle at the cost of money or something.

I would still have level up outside combat assigning skills, this would be another way to level them. But need to think better (some suggestions on the tweet were good)
