sometimes even us devs have no clue why a game does better than another. For example while I'm proud of both games I don't get how Cursed Lands sells way more than Planet Stronghold 2, when I think this last one is better under every aspect. Maybe the sci-fi curse?

Honestly I love both but I enjoyed cursed lands more. I found the female romance options to be more enjoyable. I like the more diverse back grounds and storylines they had as well as how they interacted with other characters. It gave me more reason to leaner the different

Cultures to understand them better. As well I find the travel felt more in cursed lands, like it was really different between the different places, ps2 felt like just an extended out side. I felt like the political aspect was more show not tell, were ps2 was more tell not show.

A man has a fight with a lord, to show is to show him calling the lord an idiot or find out his is in jail for disrespect. show cause and effect we see the effect and anything that can be miss understood is explained. To tell is to have someone say hey fought the lord

Say his friend just tell us he fought the lord and that is all we get. We know he doesn’t like the lord but there no impact, you could just have the man insults the lord showing us his character and beliefs. The best I can point to off the top of my head form your game is
