one thing I won't do again for sure in future RPGs is the "advance time by days/turns system", since apparently too many people got confused by it even if I thought it was a nice way to simulate the passage of time

I think they just skipped the message saying "some quests span through multiple days, if you don't have anything to do just press end turn bla bla" :D In Loren I didn't do that for example. In the end is probably less realistic but more intuitive!
