yes of course, but 12% vs 30% is really a no brainer assuming the visibility/eyeballs are the same (which of course I have no clue :P)

I won't install the Epic client and I won't intentionally do business with Tencent either as a consumer or as a developer.

oh? why? (if you want you can DM me of course)

Hi, if I may, I just want to ask is Tales of Aravorn Reign of War released yet? I bought Loren The Amazon Princess and I absolutely love it, and I read somewhere this is meant to be its sequel, but I can't find anything about it, is it still in development?

I'll write a blog post on my site explaining in detail, but in practice it will be split in four smaller games since doing such big games is no longer viable for various reasons (also, my health :P). Did you try Cursed Lands? Or if you like sci-fi Planet Stronghold 2 ?

I, from a personal standpoint, won't use Epic. I don't agree with decisions they've made and how they made them. I get the 12% cut, I do, but that is why I buy Indie games from http://itch.io , if I can.

I actually don't think it really matters - the only model that would actually work for the creative benefit of the industry is 80% to the platform, 20% to the developer - but they fund the project up front. On steam, something like 99% of games never break even.
