Thank you. Unfortunately, the numbers are not good as we hoped - we have a high number of wishlist but a low conversion rate :\

TBH I never considered wishlists a good measure for a game potential success especially recently. I usually do a pre-order/beta on itchio, and that is a much better measurement of REAL people's interest in a game. Wishlists aren't much more than clicking "like" on a post

Oh, for me it's the contrary... If I based the sales on http://itch.io 's sales I'd never done any game in the first place :D I guess it all depends on how many people are aware of your game. If no one knows about it it could be GTA VI but you won't sell it.

most people don't sell much on itchio, depends where your customers comes from and years of making games building a following

Yeah you can compare current game to previous game and check out the ratio, then multiply it up by Steam sales right? It's not use launching first game on itch and using that as a test. Has to be 2nd or later game.

It all depends on expectations. General Practitioner, my first game, sold more than I expected in the first 3 months and I was very satisfied by it. Of course that doesn't mean it sold a few or a lot, just that it exceeded my expectations. The interest around Yomi Alliance is...

...solid, and it's growing update after update, and big news about it are going to increase it. Alas, this is still based on my own expectations, since it's the fifth game I'm doing and only the 2nd "Big Project" after GP. It's difficult especially when you're just beginning.

yeah for sure Patreon+Steam seems a good market for those 3d NSFW games, there are many successful devs using that model :)

Yep but the games only have I think 3% of overall lenght involving sex scenes. Most of Yomi is RPG, story-driven, choice-based. Of course it's got sex, but it is not an erotic game, because basically I don't enjoy erotic games that much. And people seem to like it regardless ;)

Of course this also mean that it won't sell as an erotic game on Patreon, nor as a RPG on Steam, but it will probably be good for some people on both. Meaning? Visual Novels HAVE TO have good stories and characters to be successful, that's why I LOVE them ;)
