interesting, almost all negative reviews of my RPGs (or in any case gameplay based games) are about difficulty. Based on this, it seems the most logic way to create games is to make them all super easy so nobody can complain... ?

As it is a RPG it's also a Visual Novel... As a player (not a developer, because my "developer thinking" is the same as yours) I always expect Visual Novels to be a nice trip into the woods. The "Visual Novel" mode is indeed in your game though, so I wouldn't know either...

yes that's why I added "Visual novel mode", and also have easy difficulty, which is really easy. I don't understand people playing on Hard and then complaining it's too hard, when they have other choices available! :D

People playing on easy feel inferior so they go for normal or hard. You can solve that by changing difficulty names as such: Journeyman Soldier Captain Or whatever fits your narrative.
