had a discussion with other dev and thought to share: having a high number of followers in any social media surely means a dev is popular. But I know several who don't even have 1000 followers on twitter that earn 20 (TWENTY) times what I earn. So it's not everything!

I'd say it's even more important the number of followers on the developer's Steam company page than any other social network like Twitter/FB etc

in the publisher page, like this: https://store.steampowered.com/developer/winterwolves … check the "Followers" number - I'd swap my twitter amount for the Steam followers in an heartbeat!
