people who never released a game on Steam have no clue how stressful it can be. Especially if the game is successful (even only moderately successful, not a hit). I mean, even if things are going well money-wise, it's still a big stress due to the inevitable bugs, complaints, etc

I remember when I released Loren back in 2014 I did something crazy - went out with wife to town to do some errands. The game was out since 2 years on my own site and was pretty sure there weren't bugs, but I feared the community trolls and haters.

And indeed, there were many of those. But I was away, I wasn't even reading them. When I came home I saw big threads, many already reported by mods/players, and I just deleted the worst one, but kept some very critical ones.

I never censored any negative comment about my games unless it was offensive "lol what's this shit" or racist/homophobic.
