designing the cards for #CurseOfMantras following a system similar to Hearthstone is interesting since the cards cost have much more importance now and are a key element of the game design. (In my previous game resources could stack and increase turn by turn)

for example I'm currently designing Blizzard (lol) which damages and freezes 3 nearby targets, and I put a cost of 7. If I had put 5, you could cast it twice on same round (freezing all enemy units a whole turn)! So just 2 cost difference has a big impact gameplay-wise!pic.twitter.com/uIFikooKPa

I forgot to say for those unfamiliar with Hearthstone that the max mana you can have is 10, that's why you can't cast it twice if a card costs more than 5 :P
