this is not a problem if you make yaoi/yuri VNs only, but for example if I wanted to do another game like Cursed Lands with all kind of romances, that would make things difficult (people would be pissed if females were drawn well and males not or vice versa)

I can't draw either one - well, not the bodies, at least. I can draw shoulders up and that's it. If that's the case, I can do both. Joking aside (well, not really) I hope you find someone for whatever project you're doing this hunt for :3

That's really true ! I always looked at artist commission and portefolio, and I am astonished by the lack of diversity in it. Good luck to find THE one ! (Also maybe it can help, @hcrabeystudio has an unique style very lively and she is good with both gender...

Yep, the lack of diversity is why I basically forced all my artist candidates to take my 3 part test (paid). Only 2 actually got through all three. Even now, I try to force my artist to diversify. (Don't tell them that I'm doing it on purpose).

My reasoning is: If it ever happens that something happens to me or if the artist decides to work with others, the more diverse their portfolio (why I have no rules restricting even before launch), the better their chances at finding work.
