many users can't even imagine what goes behind making a game, and why very often the final result is not what I envisioned. Just from the art side there are 1000 things that can go bad or simply change the final result and it's nobody's fault.

For example some artists aren't comfortable drawing certain things. Not talking about R-18 stuff, even other things like "no LTGB content" or some even just want to draw only men or only women. Others can't draw couples, or can't draw backgrounds or color (just lineart).

Others simply are too busy (by their daily job or other commission) so if I decided to keep going with them for a full game, would mean delaying the game by 2-3 years. So many times I have to use different artists for the romance CGs for example.

And this is just from the art point of view, there are other issues for writing, music, etc. Finishing a game in a reasonable amount of time is some kind of miracle

probably is also because I make games so big. If there were only 3-4 love interests and few CGs, using the same artist for everything would be something possible and keeping development time under a decent amount of time (not years)
