I read better the requirements for notarizing and even if I pay already the yearly fee (for iOS) I won't be wasting my time to notarize apps (also because I don't have a mac anymore). So this means all my future titles won't support macs :/

it sucks, but I really can't waste my time like that. The good news is that you can easily install Windows/Linux in dual boot or use a VM. Linux is free and if you get Ubuntu all my games (or all renpy games) works just fine in it.

Given how anyone with the right SDK can run any platform of a game it might be a good idea for me to write a short tutorial on how to do that.

Any game dropped into the SDK's game directory is recognized as launchable

what SDK? lol I don't understand, are you talking about a way to skip notarizing apps on the new MacOS ? or something else?

no no I'm saying that if you have a mac, you can drop a win/lin Ren'Py game into the SDK's game directory and the launcher will see it as launchable (it uses the SDK's runtime instead of the supplied one). The only caveat is using older SDKs for older games.

So if a user downloads the Ren'Py SDK they're capable of natively running any Ren'Py game with it.

This is how I run Windows-only releases, it's overkill to run them under WINE.

it's a bit complicated for the average user but worse case it's a solution :P
