I just realized something that's not good for my kind of games:
1) localization has become very important
2) translation costs are high (if you want good results)
3) games with a lot of wordcount = very expensive
4) visual novels are a bad genre choice right now 
ah no, I meant for an average VN of 70-80k words but it really varies too much depending also on the language

AH, MAKES A LITTLE MORE SENSE.. IN THAT CASE IT SEEMS A BIT MORE REASONABLE BUT THERES ALWAYS ALTERNATIVES.. LIKE BUILDING A SOLID COMMUNITY AND MAYBE DURECTLY HIRING FROM COMMUNITY INSTEAD OF CONTRACTING AN EXPENSIVE GROUP
