Two questions: 1) Where can I find steam's current market share for MacOS? (The hardware survey is temporarily down) 2) How many Mac games on Steam are 32-bit only?

For July 2019: https://www.techradar.com/news/latest-steam-hardware-survey-is-good-news-for-microsoft-intel-and-nvidia-bad-news-for-amd … Mac was at 2.75% and Linux at 0.76% If I remember correctly Mac installs were pretty much 99% 64-bit, not sure about the games though.

Yeah, MacOS is pretty aggressive about upgrades, can't imagine there's many 32-big MacOS's out in the wild. Real question is how many Steam games for Mac are gonna suddenly stop working, and what effect that will have on Mac market share...

I've started distributing Mac with both 32/64 bit apps when I got on Steam in 2014, so in my case they would all work. I don't think there are many 32-bit apps around ?

The big issue is games made with older versions of Unity, which is probably a decent number?

ah OK I wasn't aware of that! I feel their pain if they need to update and rebuild the apps!
