Information. I may not release any more games on Mac because of this. The compiler I use makes 32-bit apps which are totally fine except Apple says “no”.https://twitter.com/molleindustria/status/1168974091795275781 …

Could always upgrade to a modern system, I mean, aren't you using a compiler that's 15 years old now?

It’s not quite that old but close. True I should swap to unity but the current and recent previous games are not. So what about them? They will just stop working.

it also said it was open sourced, hopefully some picks up the mantle for 64 bit support

Well there is a special NG version of the compiler made by a third party that I onced used for a 64-bit Linux version of Regency. It required some tweaks but eventually worked though sometimes random textures were white. So it's possible I can pipe my games through that.

Hmm well I found http://blitzmax.org has a 64-bit version for PC/Mac and so I'm checking that out.

Oh it's the NG version I already knew about. Just might require some tweaks to my code to get it working ok. Bit of a hassle but in theory possible.
