This is a cool idea so I'm going to do it too. Thanks to @alexiskennedy
@Enichan and @tanyaxshort
for starting this.
Basically I started working in games very early, when I was 20, but at the times internet wasn't even a thing. /1

that year I decided I had to change again. Not that VN/dating sims aren't a viable genre but I had to do something better. I started Planet Stronghold, my first VN/RPG hybrid. That year also collaborated with
@christinelove to a game that shall not be named :D /7Show this thread -
anyways, things started to go better, in 2012 made Loren, still my most successful title to date, then 2014 got on Steam when it still wasn't crowded, and so on. The most important lesson I've learned is: things can change VERY FAST and be ready to try new things /8

nowdays I talk a lot privately with other indies like
@GreyAlien ,@braceyourselfok and more and the coolest thing is that everyone has his own strategy. There isn't a single way to succeed (or even only make a living). /9Show this thread -
anyway to conclude, I can think of at least 3-4 times where I got EXTREMELY lucky in my life, and simple making another choice (not make dating sim, not use ren'py, not talk with other indies, etc) could have made my indie career much much shorter :P /10
