How was the first day of the Steam summer sale for you? Mine was lower than I expected and I already expected a low amount.

Not as good as I hoped. I fear this'll basically bring in around as much as the winter sale, which was disappointing. So all in all my fears are being confirmed and I'm left wondering how many people are gonna close up shop in the next couple months

so far it's about 1/4 of last Summer Sale, so rather poor here too. If I didn't have savings I'd probably shut down in a couple of years max

we've traditionally made nothing in Steam sales for years now, so welcome to our ever-growing club :)

I've been skipping the summer/winter sales for a while now.. doing discounts outside those sales. Doesn't make sense to me that we are all competing for the "cheap"-gamers at the same time with our discounted games :)

Well historically I always did very well in those sales, and weeklongs. Worst ones were Halloween, Thanksgiving and Lunar New Year. But I made good money in them all until the algopocalypse.

there are two categories of indies now: the 0,00001% making millions who say there's no indieapocalypse the remaining 99.9999% who are bankrupt because of the indieapocalypse
