I totally think the title (and the awesome banner) sold the game. A few jaded players/devs may cringe at the Something Simulator meme, but it's a meme for a reason and works on many levels. With how Steam works, I think it's crucial to explain the concept in the title alone.

I think you're right. I worry about Book of Hours, which is aesthetically a much better title; but it does ask a question, and it already has more buzz.

I really beat myself for picking "Solstice" for our second visual novel. It's easy to figure out Cinders as a more sassy retelling of Cinderella through the banner alone. Meanwhile Solstice sounds nice and all, but could be literally anything.pic.twitter.com/khcCfyYAq9

yes but you know why it didn't do well as Cinders. Year of release, that's the main reason
