No we won't, Epic. Good Lord. That's the whole point in why people were complaining about the revenue share in the first place.https://twitter.com/PCGamesN/status/1110200507946143744 …

This, to me, is just a horrible way of off-loading blame onto devs and pubs. "Look, gamers, *we're* the nice ones, it's those greedy devs who just want to keep that extra revenue for themselves."

Okay then Epic, in that case answer me this: Beyond those devs that get their nice swanky exclusivity cash, what exactly is the incentive for the rest of us to support your store if we're expected to hand away the one single incentive which currently exists?

Because the thing is, right? We don't care which store people buy the game from. So we have no motivation what-so-ever to sell games at anything other than a consistent price across all stores. Why would we? You want people to buy from you, you've got to do something yourselves.

I loathe reaction gifs, but this really does feel like the one circumstance in which picard_facepalm.gif would be extremely appropriate ;)

The same PS4 game costs the same at retail as it does on the PS Store. I'll start doing it when the AAA developers start doing it too.

I won't start doing it even *if* the AAA games do - I think £9.99 is already a perfectly fair price for our game, and were it on the Epic Store, that little extra nibble of revenue share would come in handy ;)
